The story
One counter, two grandmothers, no arguments about cardamom.
Chandra started as a stubborn question: if baklava and mithai both come down to sugar, nuts, and patience, why has nobody put them on the same tray?
So we did. We pull yufka by hand every morning and fold paneer into it. We soak künefe in rabri instead of cream. We grind our coffee with cardamom and brew it on hot sand, because that is how it should be done, and we will not be taking notes on this.
Everything is made the day you eat it. When a tray is finished, it is finished. Come early.
